We treat periodontitis with cosmetic gum contouring using laser, pocket reduction procedures, regenerative procedures. Periodontitis is an advanced gum disease that occurs when the gums no longer seal the tooth; these spaces or pockets trap bacteria that causes inflammation and loss of bone as it progresses.
Teeth Cleaning & Whitening
Teeth cleaning is important for your oral health and should be performed twice a year. The process of teeth whitening corrects discolored and stained teeth. It can greatly brighten up your smile and the way you feel about yourself. It is a process and needs to be repeated from time to time to maintain the brighter color.
Tooth Re-contouring & Reshaping
Tooth reshaping can greatly enhance the appearance of your teeth and your smile. This procedure minimizes and often eliminates any imperfections. A sanding instrument is used on the surface of the teeth, and sandpaper-like strips may be used to contour the sides of the teeth. The teeth are then smoothed and polished.
Composite & Bonded Fillings
Composite and bonded fillings can help close spaces between two teeth, stabilize cracked or broken teeth, restore decayed teeth and teeth that are chipped or worn. Composite resin fillings contain no toxic mercury and are bonded to the tooth and therefore help further prevent the teeth from further cracking or damage.
Partial & Full Dentures
Depending on the extend your tooth loss, we may suggest partial or full denture. Dentures are custom-made in a laboratory from impressions taken of your mouth. They positively contribute to your oral health and are natural-looking. Dentures are made from a flesh-colored plastic or acrylic that rests on your gums and fits snugly and comfortably.
Veneers are used to correct permanently stained, slightly crooked, cracked or badly shaped teeth. Dental veneers, also called porcelain veneers or laminates, are made of tooth-colored materials to cover the front surface of your teeth and improve your smile. They are stain resistant and change the tooth color, shape, size, or length.
Inlays & Onlays
Dental inlays and onlays restore rear teeth with mild to moderate decay or cracked and fractured teeth that do not need a crown. This restoration procedure helps to conserve our patient’s’ original tooth structure and avoids more aggressive restructure. Repairing these rear teeth strengthen them and your health.
Porcelain Crowns, Bridges, Implants
Various options to replace missing teeth include a bridge or implants covered using crowns. They avoid any shift or weakening of surrounding teeth causing a change in bite causing sore jaws, and possibly gum disease, or decay. Crowns can also be used to cover badly shaped or discolored teeth or strengthen a weak tooth.
We use implant-supported denture after the loss of teeth when there is enough bone in the jaw to support implants. An implant-supported denture snaps onto attachments on the implants and are therefore more permanent. This procedure is more beneficial for the lower jaw but can be used for the upper jaw as well. These can help to restore your natural smile.
Dr Stojic is a Wonderful Dentist.
I had a tooth that was bothering me, and I got in right away to see Dr. Stojic. She had an ex ray taken and examined my tooth. Not seeing any problem, she checked my bite and did a little correction on the tooth. I have had some congestion and Dr. Stojic thought that that could be the problem, that could cause my tooth to ache. As always, Dr. Stojic listened to my complaint, with her kind gentle manner. She is a wonderful dentist and I would not go anywhere else. I have to say that the Dr. Stojic's whole office treats their patients with respect. They really are wonderful.
A Sensitive and Caring Dentist.
I came to the office a half hour early from another appointment fully expecting to wait for a half hour. Surprisingly I got in almost right away. I was in the dental chair for a temporary crown so I couldn't say it was exactly "fun" but Dr. Stojic and her staff made me comfortable and asked repeatedly if there was anything they could do, like choice of music station, temperature control…
